Bridging Across Canada Database
What is the Bridging Across Canada database?
The Bridging Across Canada database application is designed by and for Friendship Centres. It empowers Friendship Centres to collect disaggregated data about their service offerings, centralizes data management, automates statistical reports and so much more.
The Bridging Across Canada database application is currently in a pilot phase funded through a Partnership between ESDC (Canada) and Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre (Halifax) that ends March 2023 when NAFC is set to take over administrative ownership. Membertou Geomatics Solutions, an Indigenous-led company, is responsible for the database development.
Benefits for Friendship Centres
- Easier and faster data entry
- Reporting is automated – you only need to review and modify prior to sharing!
- Custom-designed programs are created for each Friendship Centre
- Centralizes information on infrastructure, partnerships, memberships and more!
