The National Association of Friendship Centres (NAFC) advocates internationally to address gaps in programs and for urban Indigenous people in Canada. The NAFC regularly prepares United Nation (UN) submissions that outline how the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) and other UN conventions support the need for culturally safe and wraparound services.
